A growing town where word of mouth now starts online
Verwood has grown quickly over the last 30 years. More homes mean more households looking for a hairdresser, an electrician or somewhere to eat, and most of that looking happens on a phone.
Visitors add to it. Moors Valley Country Park, which reaches the edge of town at Potterne Wood, brings families who want a cafe, somewhere to stay or a bike shop nearby. A clear website puts you in front of them while they plan the day.
Each site we make is designed from scratch for one business. Read about what goes into a new website, or see examples from our portfolio. We also build for businesses in Ferndown, to the south, and in Wimborne.

Salons, trades, cafes and Ebblake firms: Verwood websites that earn the call
A fast-growing town needs websites that help new customers choose quickly.
Hairdressers, barbers and beauty salons Show your prices, your team and your free slots, and let clients book online instead of ringing during an appointment.
Electricians, plumbers and builders List the jobs you do and the roads and villages you cover, with real photos and a tap-to-call button at the top.
Cafes and takeaways Put the menu, opening hours and ordering or booking right at the top, for families heading to or from Moors Valley.
Firms on the Ebblake estate Explain what you make, supply or repair, who you work for and how to request a quote, so business buyers can shortlist you.
Children's activities and tutors Set out ages, times and prices clearly, with a simple enquiry form parents can fill in on a phone.
Holiday lets and campsites Lead with photos, what is included and how close you are to the country park and the forest trails.
Getting a Verwood homepage right for newcomers and regulars
- Name Verwood and the places around it in your opening lines, so people new to the area know straight away that you are local.
- Make your phone number, opening hours and booking button the first things anyone sees on a phone.
- Add a short section of genuine reviews or recent jobs, so newcomers have a reason to trust you.
- Keep each page light and simple, so it opens quickly wherever someone is in town.
Pottery, heath and a country park: the Verwood background
1952The last of Verwood's traditional potteries closed
Verwood is a town in east Dorset, in the Dorset Council area, close to the Hampshire border near Ringwood. Its name comes from Fayre Wood, a forest that once covered the area, and around 13,700 people lived here at the 2021 census.
For centuries the area was known for pottery made from local clay, and the last of the traditional potteries closed in 1952. Today much of the local work is based at the Ebblake Industrial Estate, and Moors Valley Country Park lies just outside the town. Our office is in Hordle, near New Milton, and we take on work in Verwood and across both counties.
Ferndown is to the south, beyond West Moors, and Wimborne is a short drive south-west.
